So far, past orders have been preserved on the app, making it easier for a user to reorder items from the same orders, but in doing so, sensitive purchase information was accessible within the app. Users now have the power to delete one item or their entire order history altogether. If you desire to wipe out every single record, it’s now possible to click through and remove all records of a user in one go, for example, to wipe out a user’s order history entirely

Co-founder and CEO of Blinkit, Albinder Dhindsa, who first announced on LinkedIn that it rolled this out just last week, saw 1 Lakh (100,000+) orders deleted, proving users have no issues. We released this feature last week and, within days, 1,04,924 orders have been deleted already. New year, new order history, said Dhindsa.
