Veera Vahana And Exponent Energy Launch World’s Fastest Charging E-Bus: 15-Minute Full Charge
World’s Fastest Charging E-Bus
In India, Electric vehicles are gaining popularity. Veer Vahana and Exponent Energy have partnered together to launch World’s Fastest Charging E-Bus. It gets fully charged in around 15 minutes. As e-mobility is gaining popularity in India, this fastest charging E-bus has been a great innovation.
EXPONENT ENERGY- A STARTUP IN THE MAKING
The startup was started in December, 2020. They started the testing of the cells for faster charging of the vehicles. The journey of Exponent Energy was going on and the company raised $5 million in December 2021. In January 2023, the startup launched the fastest charging three wheeler. Now, the news of of world’s fastest charging E- Bus has been a great boost for EV industry.
Launch of Veera Mahasamrat EV-World’s Fastest Charging E-Bus
Veera Vahana and Exponent Energy launched the Veera Mahasamrat EV, an electric bus that can charge in 15 minutes. According to a joint statement from Startups, the bus also comes with a battery warranty covering 600,000 kilometres or 3,000 life cycles. This EV is projected to deliver reduction in operating costs by around 30 percent in comparison to traditional ICE buses. Additionally, the bus also offers zero emissions and helps in improving air quality.
What will be it’s impact on Indian Startup Ecosystem?
With this innovation in charging infrastructure and battery recycling, other Indian Startups can get a platform for innovation and scale further. If more cities adopt e-buses like this, then Indian Startups might be able to scale at global standards. This is again an instance to show that Indian Startups are buzzing with potential.
Future of E-Bus Technology
With the success in e-mobility, The E-bus technologies are assured to grow further. The future might include:
- Expansion of Fast-Charging Stations: To deploy more bus fleets, we need more charging stations. There will surely be increase in charging stations if more EVs like this are produced.
- Battery Research: As we know that the Startups in India are innovating a lot, we might see more intense batteries in future.
- Collaboration with Government: Public Private Partnerships can lead to more development. If Startups like these collaborate with governments, then e-buses can become accessible to millions. Moreover, these buses have less maintenance. This means that people might be able to travel with affordable tickets.
According to Exponent Energy’s CEO, this innovation could revolutionize public transport by making electric buses more viable for daily operations. This setup benefits both e-bus operators and Startups working in sustainable urban mobility.
This launch of e-bus indicates a transfer in India’s urban transport landscape which further paves the way for cleaner, more efficient, and accessible transport for all.
